Our Papers are on their way to China!

We are DTC... that means Date to China.  Finally, after 5 months of paper chasing... all of our documents are signed sealed and delivered... literally.  We have signed and notarized all of our documents... had them sealed at the state level, and Authenticated by the Chinese Embassy in Chicago.  Our Agency in Delaware has checked them over and sent them to China.

Chances are... the papers are already there, but we proabably won't be Logged In to China's system for a few weeks... and we won't know that we are Logged In for probably a month after we are actually logged in.  So, for example... if we are logged in on Jan 20, we may not get that news until Feb. 12.  I'll be sure to announce when we have our LID (log in date).

What does that mean... well it means a bunch in the fact that it is a weight off my shoulders... I am no longer waiting on the painfully slow American Government and all the crazy red tape...

Now, I will wait on the Chinese government (hopefully a bit more efficient than our own).  Once we are logged in, the CCAA (Chinese Central Adoption Agency) will read over, translate, examine and approve our paperwork and issue an LOA (Letter of Acceptance).  The LOA generally comes 3 months after your LID... however, some people have been lucky enough to get it back in 1 1/2 months... and then some poor folks have had to wait 5 monhts.  There is no rhyme or reason to why some wait longer.  We are praying we're in the fast line.  However, if my ability to choose the fast line at the grocery store is any indication... then we're in trouble.  God's timing is perfect!    It's so easy for me to write that... if I just wouldn't forget it!

If we do the math, we could possibly travel by June (April or May is a slight possibility... if we're in teh very fast line).  July or August might be the most likely scenerio... but there's always the chance that it could be August or September.

To give you something to look at I've attached a few pictures of Noelle and some links to videos on YouTube that talk about her orphanage.
In the first video I am pretty sure that Noelle is the short little girl in pink pajama's walking on the beds.  I also think that might be her in another picture holding the fish net... but I'm not sure.

In the second video there's a short clip of the kids... and there's a little girl in a blue or denim dress that might be Noelle, but that's a stretch.  Let me know what you think.
